Quality and Testing Evidence
Quality inspection should follow the actual product type. Illuminated signs need checks for dimensions, logo proportions, surface finish, color, LED operation, brightness consistency, dark areas, visible points, wiring, connectors, power supplies, controllers, cable exits, mounting positions, and included accessories. Every illuminated letter or sign section should be powered during the final inspection.
A continuous pre-shipment test can expose certain early LED, wiring, power-supply, and controller issues before international transport. It does not guarantee that a component will never fail, but it provides more evidence than a brief on-and-off check. The test voltage, control mode, dimming function, and color-changing settings should match the approved configuration as closely as practical.
Non-illuminated signs require a different inspection method. The main points include material, thickness, dimensions, edge quality, color consistency, surface flatness, paint or plating, stud locations, mounting holes, adhesive areas, and protection against scratching or deformation. Electrical test descriptions should not be applied to signs that contain no LEDs, controllers, or power supplies.

Storefront signs have irregular forms and vulnerable surfaces.
