For the best glowing effect, we recommend a matte or textured surface (like painted drywall, brick, or stone).
Pro Tip: Avoid highly glossy tiles or mirrors, as they will reflect the individual LED dots instead of creating a smooth glow. If you have a glossy wall, let us know, and we can add a diffuser backing.

The magic happens in the gap. We typically recommend a spacing of 1.0 to 1.5 inches (25mm-40mm). We provide specific threaded studs (spacers) and a 1:1 installation template to ensure you get the perfect “floating” look and optimal light wash.

While physically mounting the letters is straightforward with our included template, connecting the wiring usually requires access behind the wall. We recommend hiring a licensed electrician or sign installer to ensure the 12V power supplies are safely connected to your main power source.

No, our LED signs run on low-voltage 12V DC for safety and energy efficiency. They must be connected to a transformer (Power Supply), which we include for free with every order. Do not connect the wires directly to 110V/220V AC power, or the LEDs will burn out instantly.

Absolutely. We use IP67-rated waterproof LED modules and 304-grade stainless steel, making them fully resistant to rain, snow, and UV rays. For coastal areas (high salt spray), please request our 316 Marine Grade stainless steel upgrade.

Our LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours (approx. 10 years of typical use). However, in the rare event of failure, the back of our letters is removable (unscrewable), allowing for easy maintenance or replacement of the LED modules without removing the entire sign.

Because we need space inside the metal shell to fit the LEDs and wiring, the minimum height is typically 3 inches (8cm) for simple block fonts and 5 inches (13cm) for serif or script fonts. If your design is smaller, we recommend our solid acrylic neon letters instead.

Standard production time is 5-7 business days after you approve the final design drawing. Large-scale or complex custom projects may take 10-12 days.
